Google Finance is Missing Out
Google Finance is a great resource. It’s basic and gets to the point. But what is seriously missing is an embedding option. Something that will let you embed any one, two, or X number of stocks and compare them or even just display them as-is. There is a great “link to chart” feature, but it would be great to add a “embed this chart” option. It would drive more traffic to the new Google Finance division and help keep those finance-savvy techies happy. Further on though, it would be amazing to have an official Google Finance API. There’s a hack for it, but nothing that’s easily setup and used. This just goes back to my API Madness article.
