Google Co-op — No Where to be Found
As I was looking over my Google Account and the services available to my specific account, I decided to go through a few of them. I went to Orkut to check that out and then checked out the Audio Ads — while it’s still under construction — and then I decided to checkout my Co-op account to see what kind of activity has been going on lately.

I was talking online with some other Google employees today and they brought up something interesting. Google Co-op Imagesearch. Just like the custom search engine that was released, what about an image search too? This would be great for something if you’re creating a niche search directory just for images. Great for photography websites too. We already know that site:domain.com works on http://images.google.com just as it does on the regular search platform, but something like the Custom Search Engine for images would be really nice too.

Looks like you can create your own search engine now and specify which sites you want to include in the search engine. I created one just to play around with it and see how it works. But what’s the coolest factor of it all? You can use your adsense account for it and make money. Yup, that’s right. You can attach your AdSense account to it so it generates revenue from all the ads. All you need to do is send traffic there. This is the start of a whole new outreach for Google Co-op users.
