DFP Upgrades for Small Businesses

Over the past few months, Google has been making announcements to Google Ad Manager account holders regarding the upcoming changes.
The largest change happening is that they are going to start charging to use Google Ad Manager.
One item to note about this change though, is that any impressions you send directly to AdSense do not count towards your monthly impression allowance in Google Ad Manager. GAM is allowing up to 90 million impressions for free, after that you will need to pay.
Here’s an excerpt from a recent e-mail I received.

We’re excited to announce that your Google Ad Manager account has been upgraded to DFP Small Business!

Needless to say, Google is trimming down some of their free services in an effort to turn a higher nickel on everyone, except those pushing more and more to AdSense.
I’m not sure where I stand on if it’s a good business decision or not, but they are making it and standing by it.
