Using Trends to Predict the Economy

Google is a powerful company, there’s no doubt about that. Google has access to some of the most valuable data in the world because of search tracking. It’s able to use search data to show trending of what’s being searched and therefore, can predict events like Black Friday.

It’s truly incredible to see what Google can do with its search data. But the real question is: are they responsible with their search data? Stay tuned for another post on privacy and Google soon.

    I know, Google could probably put together predictions and trends before most of the world even knows what they might be.

      that wouldn’t surprise me at all.

      since a lot of people just go directly to google to find anything, it’s easy to detect major trends
