Mark Lucovsky Leaves Google to Join VMWare

Mark Lucovsky is leaving Google to join VMWare. Lucovsky was a technical director for Google’s AJAX Search API platform.
After leaving Microsoft, this is what was said happened, “Mark Lucovsky has stated that Steve Ballmer, on being informed that Lucovsky was about to leave Microsoft for Google, picked up a chair and threw it across the room, hitting a table in his office.”
Whether or not that’s true, well, that’s another story.
I envision Larry and Sergey had different reactions than Steve Ballmer. Probably still disappointed, but not likely nearly as fierce as Ballmer’s reaction.
