This is very true. Some of the best ideas where not ideas that hefty amounts of funding had to be dumped into. Most of the time it is that simple idea that works the best.

Getting white hat back links is hard work. Link bait etc. is hard work and can be very hit and miss. Thanks for the video always cool to hear Matt Cutts speak.

White hat methods are for hobbyists who don’t care if they never see any results.
Black hat methods are for hobbyists who just want to make a little scratch as fast as possible before they crash and burn. They don’t make long-term plans because they know they will get caught eventually.
Gray hat methods are for serious web business owners.
