Google Adds Similar Images and Timeline to Google Labs

Google has announced some new really cool experiments going on with Google Labs.
A few new projects happening around the Google Labs are Similar Images (screenshot) and Google News Timeline (screenshot).
These are both really cool “20%ers” that have been released into the wild as a test. We’ve seen some really cool things come out of that 20% of time for employees.
Here are just a few other Google experiments currently going on.
Google takes some of these projects a little more seriously than others, such as Google Moderator. Of course this project will graduate out of Google Labs, it was used as part of of President Obama’s Change.gov plan. Something of that massive scale is sure to graduate and become a real product offering.
Google has a lot in the pipeline and I’m really excited to see what else Google is getting ready to unleash.
