Google Search Is Still Not Perfect

As Brent pointed out, Google is still having duplicate content problems. Today’s case is the BBC. The BBC (news.bbc.co.uk) has a PageRank of 9, which means they have a lot of weight in the search engines. Their pages will rank very high and very quickly.
Here is the problem that Brent, an SEO Specialist, pointed out. The BBC has two, identical, listings right after each other in both the first and second slots.

Google has been working on duplicate content issues for a long, long time. Typically though, Google deals with it in the sense of duplicate content across separate domains. I thought Google had taken care of duplicate content on the same site a long time ago, but the problem is still occurring.
Looks like Matt Cutts and the Search team need to head back to the drawing board to sort out these duplicate content issues one more time.

I agree. And I think the problem of duplicate content is a bit serious. For instance: if a website steals a content of mine and this site has more rank than mine, Google shows in serp it, not my site! What do you think about it?

I agree. It’s still a big problem and I’ve had that very same issue. Even still today, people steal my content and sometimes they will rank higher than my site, even though I published the content first.
It’s an on-going process that Google is having to battle.

Yes, I think Google must improve its Duplicate Content Filter… I’ll check on Yahoo if there is the same problem.
And compliments for the blog, it’s very interesting

Yes, this is one of the most problems with construction your SERP site, and your original content. If people steal my content, my work is dead.
