Google Not Celebrating Easter

Posted at 4:25pm EST on 04/12/2009

Today is Easter. I would like to say happy Easter to all of the Google Inside readers. Today is a special day to remember.

But Google doesn’t agree.

Google is open about agreeing with same-sex marraige and open about where they are politically, but they will be open about any possibility of celebrating Easter. Google celebrates Chanukah, Christmas, and a number of other religious holidays, so why not Easter as well? I’m really disappointed in Google today.

No Easter for Google

Maybe the guys that had to modify the google picture where from romania or from eastern europe ( the countries that have as official orthodox religion). Here the easter is celebrated one week later that catholic easter.

It’s typical for Google to show different images for different countries, so for Google to not show any holiday image at all in the USA is very disappointing.

I agree…very disappointing. Their tolerance is not really tolerance at all. They tolerate what they like…which is not tolerance.

I’m a Christian, so normally I might filter something like this, but your comment is pretty funny.
