Google Checkout is finally launching the subscriptions feature, a long-sought after feature from hundreds and thousands of Checkout users — including myself. This feature announcement comes nearly three years after the initial launch of Google Checkout.
The developer documents are ready to use and you can already start using this new feature. There are both great code examples and real examples of how to use it and what it looks like.
I’m really glad that Google finally decided to launch this feature, it’s been far too long of not having this feature available.
I have to admit though, their timing isn’t that great as the Google Checkout rates recently spiked and users are going to be less likely to use Google Checkout now.
Google needs to bring back an incentive to get people using Google Checkout again.
