Not so Happy Pi Day

Today is Pi Day, but Google is not celebrating it. Instead, Google is celebrating Giovanni
Here’s the excerpt from their website,
In 1890, Italian astronomer Giovanni Schiaparelli drew this map of Mars. Today, on his 174th birthday, we are excited to include his work with many other new features for Mars in Google Earth.
I’m a bit surprised that google is celebrating Giovanni’s 174th birthday over Pi Day. But, I do have to say that Google’s official blog is celebrating. But still no special Google logo, quite sad about that.
