Google Integrates Blogger & Google Friend Connect

Today, Google announced the integration between Blogger and Google Friend Connect.
Google still has a long way to go before Friend Connect is even close to the usefullness of Facebook Connect, but it’s one step at a time.
I’ve been overhearing from Googlers that inside the Googleplex, they call it “Friend Sense” more than they call it Friend Connect. Why is that? Google, just like any other product they develop, has a monetization strategy. You may look at a few other products like Google Analytics or Google FREE411, and think that they don’t have any monetization strategy, but they surely do have one. The data they are collecting from you is invaluable.
Friend Connect will have a monetization strategy, I assure you of that. They may not announce it right away or even sometime soon, but I assure you they will monetize it.
