Google News via MobileAlready in production, there is a new version of Google News that you can get via your iPhone.

What is so different about this version of Google News? This version is geared to be a lot more like Google’s Blogsearch. In a way like Blogsearch lets you see how many people are talking about a specific news item, now Google News does something very similar. It’s almost like a Digg-effect as to what is on the homepage or not.

It gives you more information at a faster rate, being able to easily decipher what is important and what you should spend the time to read.

If you browse to http://news.google.com on your iPhone, it will then redirect you to an optimized version of Google News. If you browse to http://news.google.com from your Blackberry, you will still get the old version of Google News.

I think the new version looks killer and they did a great job with it. Easy to use, great functionality, and great for getting a glimpse at what is hot right now in the news.

But what is really different about the latest release? You can see relevant articles directly on your iPhone now. Such as going to this page, http://www.google.com/m/news/i?ncl=1300351659, you can see relevant articles and then if you want to, go back home or click into an article.
