Google News Help Forum

Google has been rolling out the new forums for its products faster and faster. Today, Google News now has its own help forum.

The initial announcement came a little under two months ago, that Google would start moving its support forums over to the new platform. One of the first products to get moved over was Google Docs.
The transition from Google Groups over to the new forum platform was never quite cleared up as to why, though. Is Google Groups becoming obsolete? It had a number of outages in July of last year. But still, Google has not come out and publicly declared that they will be closing down Google Groups any time soon.
But, I suspect that we will see Google Groups to be seeing its final days very soon.
If you have your support, mailing list, or anything using Google Groups, I can only recommend that you quickly find a new home. Based what we are seeing Google do, it’s best to follow suit.

I still have not been able to find how to remove Fox News from my Google news page. All I see are people telling me how legit Fox News is. I just want to know how to remove it. Is this possible?

Maven,
I’m not quite sure how you’re specifically seeing Fox News on your Google News homepage. If you have a custom widget, then you could just click the “x” in the top right of the widget to close it out.
