Google Gadget: On-Screen Ruler

Google Desktop is a product of Google that is often overlooked. I have to admit, I do not actively use it, but I’m going to start very soon.

Today’s highlight is a Desktop Gadget: On-Screen Ruler.
Google Gadget: On-Screen Ruler
I recently installed a similar application to my desktop [running Windows XP] because I really needed a quick way to measure things on-screen.

I would have installed Google Desktop and used this gadget had I known about it. So, I will now be doing that and un-installing the other application.

In short, the gadget will let you measure things on-screen when designing elements of a page, maybe a book cover, or whatever you are working on.

For me personally, I use the on-screen ruler to help me when designing banners or page layouts of a new site I might be working on.

On-Screen Rular is a pretty cool tool, I will use it to size up my Google Friend Connect box on my site, thanks!

Funny this tool is exactly what I needed right at this moment.
