Android Kill Switch

Coming from ComputerWorld.com,
In the Android Market terms of service, Google expressly says that it might remotely remove an application from a user’s phone. “Google may discover a product that violates the developer distribution agreement … in such an instance, Google retains the right to remotely remove those applications from your device at its sole discretion,” the terms, linked to from the phone, read.
Google has expressly stated that they might have a kill switch in their Android phone platform.

Wait, they expressly said maybe? Isn’t that a bit of a contradiction? Expressly…meaning, they seriously mean maybe?
Hmmm so this basically means that even though you may have bought the phone, such as an instance of buying an iPhone, Google [or Apple] would still retain the right to remove applications they deem to be unlawful or illegal.
That sounds extremely shady to me.
With that kind of clause in the contract, I would definitely not buy one, despite already having bought an iPhone.
