Google Encourages Education

Google is a company that loves education. They love the process of it, they love the teaching aspect of it, and they love the general educational aspect of it.

This is something that cannot be achieved just by saying it. You cannot come out right and just say, “we love education,” because no one will take you seriously. IBM recently had a good slogan which I actually integrate into my everyday and have for a long time. “Stop talking. Start doing.”

With that slogan in mind, Google has proven themselves to be an encouragement and advocate of education through their actions.

The most recent example of this is when Google hosted “more than 90 distinguished faculty members from roughly 60 North American universities to the Googleplex.”

From past experience, Google will often take down the schedule after the event, so I’m going to publish it here for the record. It’s a great schedule and it just proves that Google really, truly, loves education.
