Google Reminds us of Quality, Not Quantity

Posted at 1:21pm EST on 09/13/2008

This is a point that I’ve tried to tell anyone I run into. Forums, networking events, at a bar with some friends; I try to convey the point that it’s never quantity.

If you have a single site, then go for it, build up the site, grow the traffic, build your readership, and expand, expand, and expand, your site.

Don’t try to launch 50 sites that you’re going to do mediocre job on. Do one thing and do it well.

Newbie Friday recently touched on this subject again and I’m really glad they did.

Please take this to heart.

Do what you do, and do it well.
