It’s amazing so far.

Alright, I’m not that impressed with it so far. It looks cool, but accessing preferences isn’t as easy as it is in Firefox. Also, it seems slower than Firefox and IE, but I haven’t timed it so I can’t be absolutely certain. Maybe I should be giving Google some slack, it is their first web browser, and competing companies have done worse, but if Google wants this to be an IE killer, they’ll have to try harder.

I’m really happy with it so far.
As far as speed, it’s almost 3 times faster than IE7, according to the speed tests that were seen on that webcast/press conference.
It doesn’t have all the fun plugins that Firefox has, so I won’t be making the full time switch any time soon, but it has huge potential.
The new JavaScript V8 engine is a huge plus too. That will help set the new standard for JavaScript engines.
I definitely would not say it’s an IE killer simply because of how much of the market Microsoft already has, but it’s definitely a future competitor, without a doubt.
