AdSense TOS Violation Reporting Moves to Web

The AdSense team previously accepted TOS (Terms of Service) violation reports via email at “Google AdSense” <adsense-abuse@google.com>, but that is no longer available.

AdSense Abuse has moved to the web.

Good move? I think so, yes. Why? Scalability.

Having hundreds, if not thousands, of e-mails coming in everyday with TOS violation reports is not scalable at all.

Google has moved to a central AdSense “contact us” form which will let you do a number of different things, including “reporting a policy violation.”

With the new form, you can contact Google about,

  • Account Issues
  • Ad Troubleshooting
  • Search Troubleshooting
  • Generating Earnings and Reports
  • Receiving Payments
  • Referrals
  • Invalid Clicks or Unusual Account Activity
  • Report a policy violation
  • Suggest a feature

So again, I feel this is a good move for Google. It’s definitely more scalable and manageable for them.
