ScoutJet, Another Google Competitor

Here is a quick blip of what their website outlines,
The part I think is important is the fist line, “ScoutJet is the web crawler for a new Silicon Valley based search engine company created by the founders of DMOZ and Topix.”
In short, the new search engine looks like it may be a topical search engine or a news search engine, rather than a normal generic search engine.
I’m always excited about new competition, it helps keep the market innovative.
