keep ranking the site well but won&#039;t allow the paid links to pass any rank along.  ie the algo slaps a &quot;nofollow&quot; on all the site links.   Although I don&#039;t think they are consistent enough with this it&#039;s basically the right idea.

Google&#039;s inconsistency creates a lot frustration that I believe they could reduce with a more transparent statements about *how they handle links* rather than *how they want me to handle links*.</description>
