Once an iPhone has been activated on your computer, you will then have the option to sync your contacts to Google. Can I ask how you do that (or are you using an Apple computer, which makes it easy via their iWhatever application)? I'm trying to cobble together something with Outlook, GMail and my iPhone/MobileMe, but I hate MobileMe and have no interest in paying for a service that's inferior to the free Google product.
