The Greener Side of Google

InformationWeek is reporting that Google will be using Solid State Disks (SSD) in their servers as a way to become just a little bit more green.
Google has so far declined to comment on the matter as “…we don’t disclose specifics about our infrastructure or hardware.” This is, of course, a smart move by Google as they do not want to give away any infrastructure trade secrets they may have.
However, moving toward a greener life style is a really good idea. It also helps the consumer keep good faith in Google as a company.
Now all Google needs to do is figure out a way to keep their employees from leaving and going to Facebook.
