Not too long ago, the beginning phases of the domain extension .me (dot me) took place. They will continue to take place over the next few months.

But soon, as of July 17th, 2008, you will be able to Google.me.

I searched for a few dot me domains, but nothing stood out to me.

Here are a few that I found still available.

• BECO.ME
• AWESO.ME
• PRIMETI.ME
• SCHE.ME
• ACADE.ME
• AIRTI.ME
• BEDTI.ME
• RADIO.ME
• SOCIAL.ME

If you are interested in any of them, head on over to GoDaddy — but note, it’ll cost you at least $100 (two-year minimum registration).

Could be some very valuable domains still available. So go at it and register away!

There may be other registrars participating in the dot me registration process, but I personally prefer GoDaddy.
