Gmail quietly added a feature to Gmail chat over the uneventful weekend. In case you want to see who’s on, but you don’t want to be seen, now you can!
Gmail chat now lets you go invisible so you can see people, but people can’t see you. This is great if you’re at work or if you just want to be left alone.
A great addition, which AIM has had for a long time. I remember back in the days of trying to “ghost” on AIM to become invisible, now it’s simply a built in option. Ah, how times change.
