Google Provides Search for Nokia Mobile Users Worldwide

“…Nokia and Google today announced that Google’s popular search engine will be integrated with the Nokia Search application.” Just another reason we strongly see Google moving into the mobile industry.

Nokia and Google Partner Together

Over two years ago, we saw Motorola and Google partner together to offer Google services in a more efficient manner.

Then, shortly after that partnership, we saw Google partner with Sprint to offer direct Gmail access.

There has been some slight diversity in these partnerships though. Motorola deals with cell phone production, Sprint is a mobile device carrier, and Nokia deals with cell phone production. Two production companies, one mobile provider. We have yet to see Google to partner with another mobile provider, such as Verizon Wireless or Cingular the “New AT&T.”

Google is strengthening its mobile partners everyday to increase the visibility and usage of Google. Is it to stay in line with their mission statement, to “organize the world’s information in the most efficient way” or is it to earn the most money as possible?

Either way, Google is creating these partnerships to keep their foothold in the search market and to continue to dominate the mobile search industry.

Google still has competition out there for mobile search, but they are trying to close the gap everyday.
