MacRumors.com put out a notice of the Apple.com press release announcing that the MacBook Air’s will start shipping today. I opted for the MacBook Air with the solid state drive (SSD), so it may take a little bit longer to ship mine.
As seen below in the screenshot of my order status, the Air Superdrive is getting prepped for shipping, but still no updates on whether my actual MacBook Air will ship before the expected date.
