Google released the iPhone interface for Google Apps products. “During Christmas (when nobody was at work!) iPhone browsing numbers even surpassed Symbian - which holds 63% of the world smartphone market - compared to the iPhone’s 2%. ComputerWorld.com”
The surge in traffic to Google from Apple’s iPhone is very encouraging for iPhone users around the world. It’s also a great encouragement to Apple because it means that consumers are adopting the new browser that came on the iPhone and that people are actually using it to surf the web — and search Google.

This leading edge interface for iPhone users will give both Google and Apple, together as a team, will be able to push products and services together in a seamless manner.
“Other companies confirmed the trends, if not the specific data, observed by Google. Yahoo, for instance, said iPhones accounted for a disproportionate amount of its mobile traffic. And AdMob, a firm that shows billions of ads on mobile Web sites every month, said it saw traffic from iPhones surge drastically around Christmas. -NYtimes.com”
Consumers are going mobile faster and faster than ever before. Companies need to effectively implement mobile options for both websites and services. It’s only logical if you want to stay in the game.
