When going to Google Docs & Spreadsheets today, I noticed a small pop-up … which is really out of the ordinary for Google. So I took a look at it to see what it exactly said.
As stated above, Google is starting to really encourage users to start using their document viewer/editor and their spreadsheets viewer/editor instead of the default already installed on your machine. Google wants to ramp up its usage so people get used to it a lot more.
I haven’t seen any other kinds of these encouragements to use the Google products before, but it wouldn’t surprise me if we started seeing these more often. Hopefully though, not in this pop-up form because pop-ups are always annoying.
