Google and Yahoo! Face a Little Competition

Google and Yahoo! are the two premiere companies right now that are duking it out over who’s in charge of online contextual advertising. Microsoft is slow to the race with their not-too-late AdCenter, but Google and Yahoo! have the upper hand.

So who could possibly even imagine competing with these two Internet advertising giants? Quigo.com (”Quigo”) does.

Who is Quigo? A company that does basically the same thing as Google and Yahoo!, but they do it with style and control; precision to be more frank with you. Quigo offers more control for advertisers and publishers. Quigo deals with large clients like ESPN.com and Foxnews.com because why? Because Quigo allows let’s say, ESPN, to control who publishes on their site.

At the same time, Quigo also allows advertisers to select which sites they want their ads shown on and gives them a complete break-down of exactly where their ad is being shown. So why does this matter? Knowing exactly where your customers are coming from and going is a crucial element of online marketing. It matters because you can optimize to the exact pin-point of where you need to be going in order to maximize your ROI (return on investment) — which is what every company wants to do.

Quigo has been around for almost seven years now, but they are slowly making their way up the ranks to becoming a more personal seller company of advertising. Something that Google and Yahoo! will probably never do because that is not their mission and vision for the company. Large corporations such as Google, Yahoo!, and Microsoft, do not have the time and energy to spend into that personal level of advertising because they do it on such a large scale. It simply would not make sense for them to do that.

A lot of companies are just fine with using AdWords or Overture because it’s easy and fast; it gets the job done. But other companies care about that very last detail of every visitor and Quigo is the better solution for them.

Which solution is best for you? Who will you choose?
