From within the Ad Group view, you can pause an individual keyword, ad, or site at any time. These items will remain paused until you choose to resume them again. This will also be the case if the overall campaign or Ad Group is paused at any time.
Now you can start and stop specific keywords rather than a whole campaign. This is an awesome new feature for AdWords. I will definitely be taking advantage of this new feature as I start doing more and more advertising.
