Firefox Extension: Mouse Gestures

Operating System: Windows XP SP2
Browser: Firefox 2.0.0.1
Extension Name: Mouse Gestures – 1.5.2
Homepage: Mouse Gestures

Mouse Gestures (“Gestures”) may be the most useful extension I have installed. What does it do? Here’s a little background first. I’m a person that doesn’t like to waste any time or any energy doing something I don’t have to. If you’re anything like me, you’re efficient — not lazy.

With that in mind, Gestures lets you control your browser with just the mouse. Setup Gestures how you want them and let them work for you. I have it setup where mouse-motion-left goes back, up and to the right opens up a new window. The possibilities are endless.

Gestures works for you because it makes navigation and activity within Firefox a breeze. If you’re someone that’s concerned about efficiency and not wasting energy, this extension is definitely for you.

Thanks for the tip Dennis. I installed the MeasureIt extension and I’ll see how that goes. That’s something that I will find useful I think because I often just take a screenshot and measure it in Photoshop.

Glad I’ve found another Mouse Gestures fan!
