Google Gets a Little Too Personal

Yesterday, Google released some news that they are going to be forcing personalized search to all users that are logged in. Wait, seriously? That sucks. I loved having the option of being able to see the SERPs (search engine result pages) without personalized search and being able to see it with personalization to it.
This is a very bad move in my opinion because it will make some aggressive webmasters very angry — such as myself. Privacy and search should be a choice.
I’m always logged into my Gmail account, always. Since I am always logged in, that means I’m logged into Google as well, all the time.
I don’t want to have to login, logout, login, logout, just to check some SERPs for specific keywords or see how Google is actually effecting my results.
I feel Google might reverse their position on this and make it optional in the near future. I see no solid reason why they would make it non-optional in the first place.
