SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Google Inc. said on Monday it would expand testing of its much-anticipated video advertising system by working with two major music labels to embed video ads on Web sites that make money running them
Google has had the audioads.google.com sub-domain for quite some time now and it’s continually been a “under construction” page. I’ve been really confused to why they would have the link active if they didn’t have a page up there. It used to redirect to AdWords, but that has since stopped.
So Google Music Ads. Google’s efforts are trying to position themselves to a place where they can offer ads right next to music videos. This is an ideal solution for both publishers and advertisers. If the two record labels, BMG and Warner, have setup agreements to let distribution of their music videos be allowed throughout the Internet, having ads right next to them would be a killer profit.
I know there are lots of sites, including one of my site, that would love to be able to offer a wide variety of music videos and earn a few extra bucks on the side too while doing it.
