I am very adamant about marketing and advertising. I’m continually analyzing and restructuring advertising campaigns and marketing strategies. This is one I really had to point out.

I recently landed on this page coming from one of the articles here on ginside.com. After getting there, I did not easily see a “register now” or “join” link to let me register.
Only after searching on the page did I finally find the join link in the top right hand corner. Is Ma.gnolia trying to lead visitors away from their site?
Like any other successful marketing campaign, you should always have a “register now” or “join” link immediately proceeding the sign-in box in case a user does not have an account yet.
This is a classic example of how they are losing traffic by the dozens.

Thanks for the advice, Jonathan. We’re just not really pushy about it all, I guess. And we’ve been welcoming a lot of new, fun and smart members in the past few months, so we’re pretty happy. All the best!

Todd, thank you for your response. I’m just a little disappointed to see how poor the link placement is. Having something a little more visible would be nice for everyone — if you’re not trying to push registrations.
