AdSense Channel Ad Placement

This is a follow-up from my earlier article about brand advertising. Google released (not sure when) a new channel feature that lets publishers specify to advertisers where their ad would show up. This function is essential for both publishers and advertisers because in the end, it will create a higher ROI (return on investment).

Channels now have a much greater purpose than just to separate earnings for publishers. It’s a unique identifier for advertisers as well now.
