So when I started Google Inside (www.ginside.com), it was never intended to have a default or ‘template’ look and feel to it. I always intended to create a unique and well-designed theme.
The time has finally come that it’s out with the old and in with the new. The old theme is going away and the new theme is here! The theme has been tested for primarily Firefox 1.5.x and 2.0.x, some IE6 was tested, and IE7 has been tested to work mostly. I believe the same bugs for IE6/7 exist together, but I have stopped caring to test for IE only because the browser’s CSS interpreter is so inconsistent with standards.
If you’re readying this and you’re using Internet Explorer, I highly recommend you upgrade to get Firefox. Firefox is one of the greatest inventions to come before us on our compute screens and I highly recommend it to everyone.
So back to the theme. The new theme you are seeing has a lot of new functionality. Social networking, better comment styles, better post styles, a better sidebar, and it’s a much crisper theme to the eye.
I will definitely be looking for feedback to see if you have any suggestions about it, but I’m pretty sure everyone will like. It’s been a work-in-progress for almost 2 months now, but it’s time to be released.
