Wordpress (the platform this site is using) has been released as RC1 for the next major upgrade. 2.1 has been set to the RC1 (Release Candidate) phase and there are some very exciting new things happening in this version.
Here are a few of the major upgrades that I’ve noticed to be important:
- Much more efficient database code, faster than previous versions
- Autosave
- Tabbed editor
- More AJAX to make custom fields, moderation, deletions, etc all instant
- Faster dashboard
