Google Inside

Seems that Gmail is having some spam issues right now. Specifically speaking, in the search of Gmail.

From what I can tell, Gmail is returning results from a search that include spam messages as well.

I thought Google was good at fighting spam? Maybe I am mistaken there. Seems like spam would only clutter the search results and defeats the purpose of even using the search function.
