Spreadsheets are becoming more and more of an everyday necessity of life for all people around the world. Some may not realize how necessary these spreadsheets are, but they soon will.
This is where ClusterSeven steps in. “ClusterSeven is the trusted spreadsheet management partner of the world’s leading financial institutions.” ClusterSeven works with existing independent partners such as Microsoft and is now expanding their list of partnerships to Google.

“When we talk to corporate accounts about on-line spreadsheet collaboration, we often get asked about visibility and control over those collaborations,” said Scott McMullan, Google Apps Partner Lead for Google Enterprise, in a statement. “ClusterSeven builds on our standard controls to provide a solution that has solved the additional demands of some of some of the world’s premier financial institutions.” - InternetNews.com
ClusterSeven is looking to build on the existing standards that Google is providing to enhance the spreadsheet usability and experience. The company is also looking to offer a secure environment as that will be a large concern for businesses around the world that want to collaborate on private financial data.
“Right now the organizations we speak to are predominantly Excel-based, but now we’re seeing an extension into the online world where companies are at shared applications like Google Spreadsheet,” said Baxter. “We’re looking to help those companies that are looking for the same level of control they have with their desktop.”
The shift from desktops to mobility is increasing at a rapid rate. More and more businesses need to focus on the mobile sector of their business to be able to maximize profit and lower expenses, such as traveling and/or mailing packages. Online collaboration also saves time, it’s instant.
