Googlebot in the Penalty Box

Google is, well, as I said to a co-worker yesterday, Google is “out for blood.” These Google penalties which we have been seeing around the indexosphere of Google have not helped a single bit.

I am now able to not find what I’m looking for.

Let’s use AliveDirectory.com as an example here.

Searching on Google I can’t find the listing anywhere now. But wait, I’m indeed actually looking for the AliveDirectory.com website. Why can’t I find it? Well that’s worthless. Why would I use Google if I can’t even find the results I’m looking for.

Let’s give it a try on Yahoo! Searching for “Alive directory” on Yahoo! provides ample results and exactly the results I was intending to find. Great! Thanks Yahoo! That really helped a lot.

Moral of the story: why should I use Google now if I can’t even locate what I’m looking for in the first place? Google is corrupting their index and it’s going to hurt their market share, dramatically.
