Facebook Lawsuit Dismissed

Facebook’s founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg was immediately put in the hotspot when Facebook was accused of stealing the idea from some colleagues back in college. The NY Post writes,

The allegations in ConnectU’s suit failed to properly tie Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and other managers to the alleged wrongdoing, Facebook said yesterday in a motion to dismiss the case in federal court in Boston.

ConnectU’s complaint “contains a litany of unrelated facts and legal theories that fail to identify what role the individual defendants have played in any wrongdoing or violation of ConnectU’s rights,” Facebook said.

I won’t say that I know all the details of how Mark actually founded Facebook, but I do know from past experience of seeing other people try to do this and “get a piece of the action,” it has always ended up badly for the attacking party.

Mark has done something great for the world. People should be happy for Mark, not try to take it away from him. I love Facebook. I have been a strong supporter of Facebook for nearly four years now and I don’t plan on backing down anytime soon.

Sure, Facebook has some faults, but no company is perfect.
