Fraud Being Taken Seriously

Google Checkout is just as deceptible to fraud as any other shopping cart system out there. With that in mind, Google has to take fraud very seriously in order to be any kind of a player in the transaction business.

And we supplement our systems with a dedicated team of risk specialists — people who manually review high-risk transactions to minimize your chances of shipping products to fraudulent buyers. We manually review a very small percentage of transactions, and we take the potential effect of this review time on order processing very seriously.

Google doesn’t take fraud lightly, so neither should we. I think Google Checkout has a great potential, it just really needs to stay on track and become known as a primary player in the transaction shopping business. Just give it time.
