Google and MTV have had some talk amongst themselves and came up with an agreement that will allow for MTV shows to be streamed on Google Video. AP released this news just two days ago that Google Video would start streaming over 100 hours of footage from Laguna Beach. This initial streaming of this show will be a test to see how functional and how adaptive the Google Video Network can be for MTV and to see if it will be successful or not.
I have no doubt that MTV will continue using Google Video as their hosting content provider since Google Video is one of the largest video networks in the world now. While YouTube and similar providers are still up there, Google Video has been leading the path for paid videos and content of that type.
