Google China’s Co-President to Resign

Google China announced on December 8 that Google vice president and Greater China co-president Johnny Chou will resign on December 31. Chou, who was previously UTStarcom’s China president, was named Google China co-president in October, 2005. Chou was in charge of Google’s sales and distribution in China. There have been recent reports that Chou was on his way out after Google did not support his localization plan.
