There’s a new platform coming out that is being produced by the Washington Post (washingtonpost.com). It’s not a revolutionary advertising system, but it does seem to be unique in its class. I’m looking forward to see the program in full swing.
But a little about the platform first. It’s a platform that will use an advertising algorithm which will detect the CPM, for example, $1.25 of ads being served through AdSense and if there is advertising space in their inventory which will yield higher than $1.25, those ads will be served instead of the AdSense ads. will allow bloggers to input the CPM for advertising on their site and if there are ads in the inventory within the WP network, those will be displayed then instead. The WP will then share the revenue with the bloggers.
The second goal for the project is to expand readership of all the blogs in their blogroll network. This is great for blogs such as mine so that my readership can expand and grow.
The platform will be based on the WPNI (WashingtonPost.Newsweek Interactive). You can read more about the platform at http://adv.washingtonpost.com.
The Bloggroll Blog network has already accepted a few bloggers into the directory so you can take a look at the directory here: blogroll directory.

Jonathan,
Thanks for the mention. Just to clarify, our system can’t “detect” what you earn from your adsense (or any other provider), we go off of data that the blogger puts into the system him/herself.

Ah, I mis-understood the details — my mistake. Thank you for clarifying. I updated the article with the correct information.
Put in a good word for me too, I’m really hoping to be accepted into the blogging blog network.
