Google Display Advertising Network

John Chow was invited to join the Google Display Advertising Network in September. This is a new — but secret — Google advertising network which is built around brand imaging rather than selling products.

Brand image is exactly that. Similar to advertising on television almost. You aren’t out there selling a specific product, but getting your name out there so when a consumer is looking to buy a product that falls under your product line, they think of your company first.

This advertising network is geared to do exactly that. Instead of using the AdSense or AdWords platform and just doing CPM ads for a certain product, this network will be all CPM.
