Gmail Goes Dotless

Gmail goes dotless, well, in email addresses that is.

To: my……email@gmail.com (Yes, this is you. Learn more)

I was able to send an email to myemailaddress@gmail.com andmy.email.address@gmail.com and they both end up at the same place.

You can send email with or without the dot and it will get to your name. The dot is really just there to look pretty and it has absolutely no funcitonality whatsoever. (via)
