Pointed out on a DigitalPoint thread, Yahoo! is marketing Internet Explorer 7.0, a recent stable release of the Windows operating system. I finally gave in and upgraded to 7.0 yesterday, but don’t walk away thinking I won’t be testing in 6.0 anymore. I downloaded a stand-alone copy of 6.0 to ensure testing platforms were available.

So Yahoo! is marketing Internet Explorer 7.0. But the funny thing is, Internet Explorer 7.0 uses Google as the default search engine. I find it ironic that Yahoo! is promoting this new product when it isn’t even using Yahoo!’s search engine by default.

But apparently Yahoo! has their own version of Internet Explorer 7.0 that [most likely] uses Yahoo! as the default instead of Google.

If you’re eager to download IE 7.0, you can download it here.
